Snorkel Shelling and Jean's First Cobia

Nice easy day. Left the dock at 11. Crystal clear water. Started snorkel shelling at one of our usual spots. Crown conchs, Banded Tulips, Lightning Whelks, Shark Eyes, Channel Whelk, and lots of Pear Whelks. Headed to Gomez Rocks for some more snorkeling where we saw Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead, a Sea Turtle, Spadefish, Jack Crevalle, Blue Runners, Grunts, Boxfish and more. Then, trolling through the shallow water on the way home, Jean landed her first ever Cobia. Too short to keep, but a strong fight and a first-time for her.
