Todd, Henri, Zack and I headed out on the ONE day of the two-week Gag Grouper season that was calm enough to be safe. Loaded up on bait with the castnet and headed to Pasco Reef #2 and spots around there, in 35' of water.

Immediately Todd put 2 groupers on the boat, one at 28.5 the other at 30 inches! We proceeded to limit out on Mangrove Snapper (total of 20). We've got those figured out...chum blocks on the surface are the ticket for big mangos, especially if you can get the bait back a little further.

Henri also got a Cobia, but only 32 inches (ONLY!) to the fork...needs to be 36" to keep. Sad.

Zack got a nice Hogfish as well.
